As Large Language Models (LLMs) evolve into autonomous agents, the industry is shifting from isolated operations to Agent-to-Agent (A2A) networks. While these collaborative ecosystems enhance task performance, they introduce significant systemic risks, including adversarial composition, semantic misalignment, and cascading operational failures. This paper argues that current alignment techniques—designed for individual agents—are insufficient for these complex networks. Instead, the authors propose that trustworthiness must be architected into the foundation of A2A coordination frameworks rather than retrofitted as an afterthought.
